Areas we serve
Requests come in from Dayton and across the Miami Valley. Here's what's different about the main towns we cover. Not listed? Call with your address. We also take requests from Fairborn, Oakwood, Vandalia, Trotwood, Riverside, Xenia.
Kettering
Kettering grew quickly after World War II, and many of its homes have basements that are now 60 to 70 years old. Older block walls, original drain tile and clay soil make seepage at the wall-floor joint the most common problem.
Kettering is in the City of Kettering, which requires a permit for residential structural changes.
Beavercreek
Beavercreek, in Greene County near Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, has many newer homes with poured basements, often finished. Newer homes still leak through tie-rod holes and shrinkage cracks, and a failed sump pump can flood a finished basement fast.
Beavercreek is in the City of Beavercreek in Greene County.
Centerville
Centerville, south of Dayton, has a historic village center and many homes from the 1960s on, most with basements. Wet springs and downspouts that dump near the foundation are frequent causes of basement water.
Centerville is in the City of Centerville.
Huber Heights
Huber Heights is known for the thousands of brick homes built by Charles Huber's company from the 1950s on. Many of those homes are now old enough that original drainage, sump pumps and foundation seals are wearing out.
Huber Heights is in the City of Huber Heights.
Miamisburg
Miamisburg sits along the Great Miami River south of Dayton, with older homes near downtown and newer neighborhoods to the east. Older basements near the river and on low lots see more groundwater after heavy rain.
Miamisburg is in the City of Miamisburg.
